Jay Nettesheim - Portland, ME Branch Manager

Jay has over 27 years experience is the floor covering world.  He began working for a friends father in Colorado back in 1980 working mostly in high end homes.  He spent 5 years learning the ropes and absorbing as much information as possible.  He went out on his own for a few years until he got involved in commercial flooring and took on a partner and with 6 employee's begain working in banks and office buildings.  He has certifications from CRS and Armstrong but like most there is no substitute for hands on training. 

In 1993 he decided to try a new direction and he got involved in custom rug making.  He moved to Maine in 2000 after spending summer vacations there since the mid-80's.  He still makes custom rugs out of his home shop in Gorham, ME

In March 2004 Jay joined Grosvenor's as the Portland branch manager and enjoy's dealing with all the people he works with, from customers to vendors and he says "It is truly the best job I have ever had working here at W.J.Grosvenor's.  There is never a dull moment working here."
